Future Space
In 2021, when the James Webb Space Telescope was launched, scientists received their first look into the composition of the atmospheres of Earth-sized exoplanets. Webb, or a comparable spacecraft in the future, might be able to detect telltale indicators of an atmosphere similar to Earth’s, with elements like oxygen, carbon dioxide, and methane. A very promising sign of potential life. The process of photosynthesis, by which plants convert light into chemical energy, could be detected by telescopes of the future, as could gases or compounds indicating the presence of animal life. A similar level of air pollution to that of Earth may be produced by intelligent, sophisticated life, making it visible from great distances.Credit Voyager
